About

Roy van Pelt

I am currently a postdoctoral researcher at the Biomedical Image Analysis group of the department of Biomedical Engineering of Eindhoven University of Technology. I am affiliated with the Multivalued Image Analysis and Visualization group, headed by Anna Vilanova. For our work, we strongly collaborate with Philips Healthcare in Best. My research focuses on illustrative medical visualization, with a specific interest for multi-valued image data. My recent work deals with visualization of cardiovascular blood-flow velocity data, measured through magnetic resonance imaging. More specifically, I’m actively investigating the merit of illustrative rendering and real-time interaction techniques for comprehensive exploratory analysis of unsteady blood-flow fields. I received my master’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Eindhoven University of Technology in 2007.

This is my personal webpage.  Feel free to navigate your way through my portfolio, displaying my favorite photo’s, digital art projects and visualization work. Furthermore, I have a travel map showing photographs from the cities I have visited.

All my recent activities will be posted on the blog page, so you are welcome to check again now and then to see what I have been up to.
